Come January 2010 there will be a plethora of different WiFi devices on the market, each with different capabilities and ways of providing you with that essential connection to the net.

Many people will probably have a phone with some form of internet access, however, one that can fully utilize the sheer amount of free wireless networks would probably be the most useful. As with a laptop, having an ability to get onto the net whenever you need it could prove to be one of the most useful inventions of our time. Newly released MiFi devices which provide you with an instantaneous connection should also be high up on your ´wish list´.
